Ease, Ease My Heart At Last: Shakespearean Sonnet
by Nathaly Muñoz
O, how to see Madness in such a desert!
To smell flowers' shades in deep red rose
Listen to Spring calling young heart's pleasure
Taste chants' nectar of lovers' sad voice
Claim that the Universe has no measure
Venus I see you not even if young
Penélop's constancy though man's censure
Can't grasp Helen's to Paris foolish song
But aback, my limbs fall in such tremor.
Blinded not, but freed by his love callow.
Corners ignor'nt pleased of needed fervor.
Ere you fade beg of you leave me hallow.
Vernál I'm now from once a desert's mist
Amour now lies down my sleep in night's kiss.
